No, Lite version is always free, just that few advanced features are limited.
If price is not updating then please check if you see updated price when you download price data from yahoo website manually. Stockalyze just fetches the data that is available in given data source, e.g. Yahoo!, if it is not updated there Stockalyze cannot do anything.
