Super Trend indicator is something you can create yourself in Stockalyze. But yes as of now documentation is missing about how to do that. I will add documentation and/or demo video about how to create composite indicators.

As far as implementing just this feature, it won't take much time. But as of now I am busy implementing something else (ascii and metastock data import, intraday P&F chart, backtesting for short-positions, and etc.) and that will take few more days. But anyways I don't think you will have to wait much. Please stay tuned and have little patience, it will be done.  :)

It's a very good question. Please allow me to answer. The same Stockalyze can run in ProMode as well as LiteMode depending on if valid license is found. Perpetual license is forever in ProMode but we cannot give free updates forever especially if there are features with large implementation cost. So, for perpetual we guarantee you will get minimum 3 years of updates. But you can keep using Stockalyze in ProMode forever. For other licenses Stockalyze can be updated freely forever but the ProMode license itself is short lived and after that Stockalyze will run in LiteMode. LiteMode Stockalyze is free and can get updated freely.

In Stockalyze chart you can see the values of all indicators. If you have some other calculation you can compare some random values and see if they match.

As of now all stocks symbols are unique within a single data-provider. So it doesn't matter which one you use. The downloaded data will be exactly same. If you want you can delete the duplicate.

Just for information, this wasn't the case earlier when google was also a data-provider in Stockalyze. Google's symbols were not unique but they were unique within one country. And exchange name was needed to download price data. Google no longer supports price history and so that problem is no longer there.

Regarding duplicate symbols I will find time to clean them up and also update them. But it may take some time.

I had been planning to add all indicators involved in Trading System definition when you open a chart from result of backtesting. Is it something for which you have asked or there is some other requirement. Please let me know. I can implement it after I am done implementing some other feature like ascii data import and such.

You may try to edit the watchlist file directly. If you have added any item in watchlist then you can go to "%appdata%\Lunetek Software\Stockalyze" folder and edit watchlists.xml file directly. Make sure you have Stockalyze closed and ensure that data is not incorrect and be cautious about that.
I will not recommend this approach unless you wan to do it. :) Nothing wrong will happen, but you should take backup of watchlists.xml if you want to revert back to original in case of any mistake.

As you know Stockalyze uses data from Yahoo!, Tiingo, or Alphavantage. If the data provider misses a record Stockalyze cannot do anything about it. You can check on Alphavantage website and download the data of your stock and see if it has same data as Stockalyze shows. If you find Stockalyze shows different data, which I very much doubt, then please let me know.

As of now it is not possible. You can define conditions based on relation between 2 data-series.
But, there were similar query asked by other users as well.
I will think about it and will let you know if I make changes related to it.

It is required when you manually add it. Since in the workflow of importing symbols for backtesting (or other purpose) you may not have company names in the list and just tickers. You may acquire this list by process of some scanning from somewhere in the internet and that might only have tickers. Making it mandatory to have names may make this feature unusable.

If you want to add name to already added securities then you can delete them in symbol selection dialog and add them again. This is the only way within Stockalyze. I hope this works for you.

No, as of now the conditions are always based on relation between data series.

I have added this feature to "provisionally" add symbols that failed to import. Provisionally here means that they will become part of Stockalyze database and at the time of Stockalyze closing all those symbols will be deleted for which there is no price data in the database. So, if you tried to import a list of symbols and you get error listing the symbols that did not import and you chose to add them provisionally but then you didn't actually run the backtesting and closed Stockalyze then all those provisionally added symbols will automatically get deleted. But if you went ahead and run backtesting and some symbols were good and price data for them got fetched and some were bad and no price data could be fetched then all those bad ones will get deleted automatically.
