Am I correct to say that:
(X) is number of days to look back
and
(Y) is where to start the count to look back

So that if X=5 and Y=2
This means to look back 5 days from the day before yesterday?

I'm now advancing into creating some trading systems that I use online and am trying to replicate them in Stockalyze.
And I need help.

What I'm trying to create is a RSI(10) Bearish
Here's the criteria:

RSI(10) crossed below 70
and RSI(10) 1 day ago was above 70 for the last 5 days

I tried adding a sub condition for the "and" part to no avail. I then tried adding a condition for it and again nothing. Maybe I still am not understanding the X and Y days and how I can include an "and" criteria.

I have some tickers that fall into this criteria, but when I run it against them I get zero hits.
Can you help me?

So far I like it. I can deal with the weekly data on the yearly charts, now that I have an understanding how the data is viewed.

A couple of things. Extremely minor.
The %App folder name changed, but it was easy enough to figure out and I moved my portfolio and watchlist into the new folder. No biggie.

On the yearly buttons (1yr, 2yr, etc.) it takes the first trade day of the newest week and not the last traded day. The month choices use the last traded day and are fine. Could the yearly's also use the last trade day?

Thanks, Sacha. But I got an error after installation that Stockalyze can't start because a dll missing. See attached image.

What is the correct way to have Stockalyze refresh/update the historical tables?
Does it mass update when Stockalyze is opened/launched?
Does it check the date of last data when you display a chart?
I had a ticker (QHC) that had wrong numbers in the historical data. After using the Quote Editor to delete the May 18 data, and I noticed the May 21 and May 22 data were missing. I couldn't figure out how to get Stockalyze to update the data. Once I displayed a chart of the ticker, it updated, and updated the portfolio data correctly, is this how to do it?

On the TTM issue I agree it shouldn't be a periodicity, but I was hoping for a quick key to show only the Daily Trailing Twelve Months. Many times I'm interested in the past 12-months from current day for back-testing etc.. (Current Date-252)???

Managing Trading Systems:
When you edit a trading system and OK. The Managing Trading Systems window shows the line selected in grey and not the "blue" selection color. Merely cosmetic.

Create New Chart:
Sometimes when I create a new chart. It doesn't become the "active" window. I have to bring it up from the windows taskbar. Is this a Windows 7 issue?

Trading System:
When you create a trading system, could you please explain the "M" and "N" days.
For example: if I look at the ADOSC System.
The subcondition says:
"MACD(12, 26, 9).MACD crosses MACD(12, 26, 9).MACDSignal from below during 5, and 0 previous days"
I don't understand the 5 and zero days. Is it saying any one of the past zero to five days. Or is it saying 5 days ago from current date (0)? Is it from highest number of days to lowest from current date?

Can TTM (Trailing 12 months) be added to the Periodicity Menu?

With the quick response and immediate fixes, Sacha has proven Customer Service is NOT a forgotten trait to have and exercise.
I am loving Stockalyze more and more everyday, as I learn what it is capable of.
I encourage users to take the time and read the Help Manuals, even if you think you know how to use the software. Trust me, you will learn new things as you go through it.
Forget those expensive products, this one beats them all. In my opinion.

I've downloaded your Lite version and so far I like what I see.

My queston is, what are your plans and procedures for keeping up with the changes Yahoo and Google do with their data in order to guarantee data will always (perpetual) be available?

I know of other systems who had a major prolem when Yahoo changed to JSON data and now Google is changing currently.
