Hi Sacha,

thank you for your reply, i have the following questions:

- are there special instructions how to configure and use AlphaVantage?
- is the use of AlphaVantage free or does it need a special AlphaVantage subscription?
- when will the general release be available and when will intraday backtest and intraday alerts be available?

Thank you for the explanation.

i usually use Metastock data for Stockalize, but now i want to try using Yahoo and AlphaVantage.

What do i have to do to change the data source? Do i have to download first the historical quotes from Yahoo and AlphaVantage?

Are documents available to set up Stockalize to use Yahoo and AlphaVantage?

i download the beta version and want to try it but i come only in lite mode.

I have perpetual license and i can run Stockalize 2014 only. Do i have to buy again license?

Questions about Intraday Charting:

1. Will Yahoo and AlphaVantage both supported for intraday data? Do both of these providers provide real time data or 15 minute delayed data?

2. Is the beta version capable of doing a backtest on intraday charts, e.g. MACD on crossover on 60 minute chart?

3. Are alerts supported on intraday charts, e.g. alert if RSI > 60 on 15 minute chart?

Feature & Enhancement Requests / Win/Loss ratio in backtest report.

I like Stockalize and i use it now for Backtesting, it is very fast.
However, there is one thing that i will suggest: in the result of  backtest i see the number of winners and the number of losers. It will be very nice to have one extra column with the number of winners/losers or winners/(winners+losers). That way i can see in one view which stocks has which winning percentages and if we can sort that column then we can which stocks has the best performance for this strategy, Will it be possible to implement this extra column soon?

Hi admin,

yes, it works now after new install, at least i can display charts from the stocks in my metastock folder.

I have questions:

- can i run "Backtest" from all stocks in my metastock folders in once or do i have to run the backtest multiple times for the whole folder (one stock per run)?

-If i would purchase 6 months subscription first and after say 2 weeks i want to change to perpetual license, can i pay only the difference in the price between subscription and perpetual license?

The metastock data i have is good because i can read it with metastock and other software on my laptop. It might be difficult for me to organize a remote connection because i live outside usa (in asia) and there is a time difference. Mostly if in usa is daytime in my place it is night time or even after midnight.

I have other suggestion: can i send you my complete metastock folder (zipped it is around 4 MB only) and you can recreate the problem on your site. You could just extract the zip file to a new folder on your site and try to process it by stockalyze. If this is possible please indicate to me to which email i can send this 4MB data.

Thank you, i have done the actions you gave.

Then i enter NEW CHART, Stockalyze then enter a list of all the stocks in my metastock folder (around 60) and when i choose
one stock (e.g. AAPL or CSCO) i got a windows error screen (stockalyze.exe has stopped working).

Please see attachment for the screen shot.
