News and Updates / Updated stock symbols
April 15, 2019, 05:12:36 PM
Recently released Stockalyze that has stock symbols updated and cleaned. The stock symbols of many exchanges across the world are now up to date and old unused stock symbols are removed.

Wish you all happy Stockalyzing,
Sacha

Stockalyze already has that. You actually meant zoom instead of timeframe (in stockalyze terminology :).
Look at the toolbar that contains tool names like 3M, 6M, 1Y, etc. in the chart window. They are in the left of the center.
Please try it and let me know if you don't find that.

Sacha

With users of Stockalyze facing problems of price data not updating on time, it is our responsibility to provide more alternatives to circumvent this problem.
We just updated Stockalyze that is integrated with Tingoo for fetching price data required for stock analysis.
Tiingo covers US, Hong Kong, and China markets. In future, we will add more data providers to cater for other markets.

Wish you all happy Stockalyzing :),

You can try the other data provider that is integrated in Stockalyze. We are in process of integrating more data providers but certainly it will take some time to cover exchanges around the world.

General Discussion / Re: How to add a security

TSM is already there (unless you are using very old Stockalyze) and so you will get an expected error that it already exists.
Have you selected correct country in the left panel?

General Discussion / Re: Forex and Stockalyze

I haven't tried running Stockalyze on Linux.
Maybe I will give it a try. I did have a plan to support other platforms but didn't get time to make that work.

Thanks for your kind words. These things keep us motivated.

Regarding forex, Stockalyze doesn't have direct support. But it saves and reads price data from sqlite database which you can see for yourself. I haven't tried but if you create the required price history tables in the database then certainly Stockalyze can pick them up.

You can try opening the lyzdb file present at %LOCALAPPDATA%\Lunetek Software\Stockalyze\data and make modifications to see how stockalyze picks them.
I am open to help you on this.

Also, we are planning to open the SDK that can make it possible to add plugin for data provision. Would you be willing to develop plugin for forex data download?

Sacha

Which stock quote you are looking for? Do you see the stock price available on Yahoo! finance website?
