Suspect API is affecting the scanning process

Hi, I reported earlier about the super slow stock scanning speed. I un-install and re-install a few times but still scanning is slow. Then i read in the forum that the data provider allows max of 5 stocks download per minute, hence I noticed that during the stock scanning, the number jumped by increment of 5. So I think this api is affecting the scanning speed.

Is there an alternative way to bypass the api, so that I could scan faster based on the eod data.

You can use Yahoo! data provider when scanning for stocks. AlphaVantage provides intraday price data and so you can choose to use AlphaVantage for intraday charting only.

Please note that Stockalyze provides multiple data providers. As of now Yahoo, AlphaVantage, and Tiingo. Different data providers have different benefits and you can chose to use one in some case and another for other cases.
