Hi Gd iPas,

Just an update on this — we've now added support for using multiple timeframes directly within a single trading system in Stockalyze.

You can now define conditions like Monthly, Weekly, and Daily RSI together in one system, without needing to run separate scans and manually combine results.

Along with this, we've also added several ready-to-use multi-timeframe trading systems, including:

* Multi Timeframe Pullback (EMA)
* Multi Timeframe MACD Confirmation
* Multi Timeframe Mean Reversion
* Multi Timeframe RSI Reversal Attempt (Early Entry)
* Multi Timeframe Momentum Stack
* Multi Timeframe Volatility Breakout
* Higher Timeframe Support Bounce
* Multi Timeframe RSI Regime Pullback
* Multi Timeframe Breakout with Trend Filter
* Multi Timeframe Trend Alignment (EMA)
* Multi Timeframe RSI Pullback

Also, the **"Multi Timeframe RSI Pullback"** system is available in **Lite mode** as well, so you can try it out without needing the Pro version.

Do give it a try and let us know your feedback!

Thanks again for suggesting this — it helped shape this feature 🙂

Hi Gd iPas,

Thank you for reaching out.

What you're looking for is scanning stocks across multiple timeframes at the same time. At the moment, Stockalyze doesn't support this directly, but you can achieve it by running separate scans (Monthly, Weekly, Daily) and then finding the common stocks across those results.

I agree this isn't the most convenient approach. We're planning to add direct support for this, and it should be available soon—likely within the next few days.

In the meantime, feel free to keep exploring Stockalyze, and let us know if you run into any other questions.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

We've just released a new update to Stockalyze introducing automatic Trend Line visualization on charts.

You can now generate trend lines not only for price movements, but also for any indicator plotted on the chart. We've put special effort into making indicator-based trend lines intuitive and easy to create, so you can analyze momentum, oscillators, and custom indicators just as seamlessly as price action.

Give it a try and let us know what you think. Your feedback and suggestions help us shape future improvements.

We're also actively working on an upcoming AI Assistant feature, which will be integrated in a near-future update. More details coming soon!

Thank you and happy Stockalyzing

Hi everyone,

We're happy to announce that forum registration is now open again 🎉

Earlier, direct forum registration was closed and the only way to register was by asking a question through Stockalyze. This was done to fight spam. Unfortunately, that approach was also eventually breached, and we had to deal with a large volume of spam.

We've now worked on improving our protection systems and are confident in reopening registrations.

✅ What's new?

  • Strong anti-spam protection is now in place
  • One-click Google registration for quick and easy access

Along with this, we've also made improvements to Stockalyze itself.
Going forward, you can expect more frequent updates and better communication.

Please feel free to share your ideas, feedback, and suggestions — your voice plays an important role in improving Stockalyze.

Thanks for being part of the community!

Hi Tony, sorry for replying late.

Do you have files in folder "%appdata%\Lunetek Software\Stockalyze\yahoo_data_download\user_index"?
I suspect you might have some tickers wrongly configured in the past that is getting added to the new database.

Can you please check and delete these files if you don't need them. They are text files, you can open them in notepad and see their contents.

Please let me know if this solves your problem.

General Discussion / Re: Backtesting

Yes. You just need to have the intraday data. As of now the only data provider that is built-in into Stockalyze and provides intraday data is Alphavantage but that too is not very reliable. Your mileage may vary depending on stocks.
So, if you have intraday data then you can use Stockalyze to use smaller timeframe than daily for back testing.

Hi Vishal,
There have been some complain regarding the same. We are in the middle of changing the payment provider and I hope the new payment provider which is Paddle will not have this issue.

Please stay tuned. It will happen soon.

Hi William,
Thanks for your query. Below are my answers to them:
1) Yes, many Stockalyze users had requested features and we gladly added them when the requested feature was useful for other users as well.
2) There is a feature to create indicator of indicator and that might be useful for your need. See the details here: https://stockalyze.com/help/manual/topics/stock-chart.html#addindictochart. We can talk about it more if this is not sufficient for your use case.
3) Interesting requirement and we would like to add this capability to the Stockalyze. Is there any specific data provider you have in mind? If it is generally available then we can add that to Stockalyze for everyone. If it is something that is not available for others then maybe we can talk about it more to know how we can move forward with that.

QuoteIf custom programming and API integration are available, could you provide details on the process, pricing, and any technical requirements? I'd appreciate any guidance you can offer.
As of now the custom programming and API integration is not available. But regarding API for data provider, we can make that available. We can work out the details if you provide more information.

Thanks again for your query and please let me know if you have more questions.

General Discussion / Re: Custom Indicators
June 10, 2025, 03:50:42 AM
Hi DR Harter,
Thanks for liking Stockalyze. If you want to add new indicators then maybe you can first try adding indicator of indicator that you can easily do in Stockalyze by drag and drop operation. It is explained in detail in the help manual.
If that is not enough for your need then you can suggest us to add an indicator. If it is useful as a general addition to the Stockalyze then we can gladly do that. You can contact us for the detail of indicators and we can decide about ho to add it.
We do have plans to have SDK for the Stockalyze so that any third-party can program on top of it but it is not done yet. In absence of that only we can add new indicators if the built-in "indicator of indicator" is not sufficient for your need.
Please let us know the detail and we can work it out for your need.

Hi William,
Unfortunately these features are not part of Stockalyze yet. We can make them part of the Stockalyze if more users ask for it.

QuoteCan you suggest any other good api

I guess you meant data provider. If non of the online data provider is working for you then you can still use Stockalyze with ASCII data or Metastock data if you have other means to get them.
Please let me know if you need more info on these data source.
