We are sorry that the Yahoo downloader of Stockalyze was broken for a long time.

But the good news is that the problem is now fixed.

We have integrated yfinance to download price history from Yahoo.
It is important to uninstall the previous version of Stockalyze and then only install the new one.

Please report about any problem you may encounter.

We wish you happy Stockalyzing experience as before.

The Yahoo data is fully broken. Yahoo keeps changing and it is difficult to keep pace with it.
We are trying to solve this problem once and for all but there is a road block.
I still hope we are almost there and there will be a new update soon that will fix the data problem.

None of the data providers are working,nor the API's.
This has been an ongoing problem since I purchased a License about 5 years ago. The only one that would work was Yahoo but now that has not updated since 2 September 2024.
Also 3 times before all my watchlists have disappeared and I have had to rekey them all again.

WE are aware about the problem and this problem has repeated recently. This time Yahoo has changed a lot and made it difficult to download. That's the reason it is taking some time.
There is a yfinance utility that downloads from Yahoo reliably. We are in process of integrating that to Stockalyze and that should solve this problem once and for all, hopefully.
Please have patience and in the meantime try to use other data providers bundled with the Stockalyze.
I hope Yahoo data download will be back with the Stockalyze soon.

I am using Yahoo for data and it is showing 29-05-2024 as the last candle. nothing after that. Can you please advise how to update the data to get latest candles please.

Hi Ambarish,
License number is not an issue. If you can't register anymore you can contact us and we will increase the license number.
To limit the problem I will recommend to uninstall the Stockalyze before formatting your machine. When you uninstall it is registered that the license count use is decreased.

I have only one installation of stockalyze but every time I format my laptop and reinstall stockalyze my license is shown used up. kindly help

For the second time in a couple of months, the Yahoo updater isn't working!
We're stuck on Aug 30 now.
This is getting really frustrating!
